Did you see those games? Wow!!!

Okay, who didn't see the two WNBA playoff games on Monday?
Damn, you missed it.
If you like basketball, not women's basketball but just basketball, you got about four hours of down-to-the-wire, clutch shooting, heart-stopping action.
Whew! That was fun.
If you like women's basketball, you gotta get NBA TV. That's the channel that carried the two games. In the first game, Indiana rallied from about a 22-point deficit to beat Connecticut in overtime 93-88. I didn't care who won. It was just fun to watch.
Big shot after big shot - then the end of regulation was as wild as it gets. Connecticut missed a desperation 3-pointer to tie and Indiana got the rebound. But, instead of holding onto the ball, she tried to make a pass, which was stolen. Connecticut's Nykesha Sales hit a 3-pointer from the corner to tie.
Then, Connecticut fouled Indiana's Tamika Catchings in the backcourt with 3 seconds left. Catchings hit two free throws but, fittingly, the girl who fouled her hit a driving layup to send it into OT.
How's that for excitement?
And, that wasn't even the best game. San Antonio beat Sacramento 80-78. Becky Hammon fed former Lady Techster Vickie Johnson for the game-winning layup with .5 on the clock.
San Antonio blew a 20-point lead and saw Sacramento take a 1-point lead. The Monarchs' Nicole Powell made some sick shots down the stretch.
But, as soon as Sacramento took the lead, Hammon drained a 3-pointer for the Stars.
This game was great, as good as I've seen in awhile.
Another thing that made both games so intense were they were the third game in a best of three series. Ain't nothing like a do-or-die game going down to the final seconds.
Okay, I'm done. I know I'm the only person in Union County who watches the WNBA. I don't care if none of you so-called basketball folks are interested.
That was good stuff.
